The HERstory In Color logo was chosen with deep meaning and intention.
Our founder, Holly Jones, was diagnosed with multiple chronic illnesses that have shaped her journey in powerful ways. Each color within the image represents a different chronic illness, a distinct chapter of her life, or a season of struggle and triumph. Together, the vibrant colors come together as one portrait, symbolizing the way multiple experiences, conditions, and identities coexist within a single woman.
Her head is lifted high to reflect resilience, courage, and the determination to live her truth openly and unapologetically. The upward gaze with her eyes closed says that she walks by faith and not by sight, as she embodies strength, healing, and the pursuit of hope despite the challenges. This logo captures the essence of HERstory In Color: that even in the midst of adversity, there is beauty, diversity, and dignity in every shade of one’s story.
